| Teresa Walchali’s farm is located in the heart of Oregon’s Columbia Basin, well know for its semi-arid and fertile farmland. She farms with her husband Philip, and both of them are from farming families and have farmed their entire lives. Her 40 acres of certified organic farmland produce watermelons, cantaloupes, honeydew melons, winter squash and a wide variety of peppers. Teresa is extremely conscientious of water conservation, and uses a drip irrigation system to keep her crops watered and healthy. |
