| Jamie and Lisa Kitzrow’s Spring Hill Farm is located in the flood plain of the Willamette River, west of Albany. This area provides an excellent climate to grow all kinds of herbs, greens, lettuce, fennel, tomatoes and other vegetables. Jamie has been farming this land for twelve years, and quality is the driving principle behind everything he does. When he took over this farm, it had been a "conventional" farm for 75 years. Jamie farms with the future in mind, and intends to leave his eighteen acres a little better than he found it. Pictured here are his co-workers, Paulo, Floriberto, Virginiana and Miguel. These are the people who work the land with Jamie to produce Spring Hill Farm’s bountiful harvest. |
